We also just had a Spirit filled lesson with 2 other investigators about an hour ago and went over the baptismal interview questions. WOW, that was needed. The husband, who is in his 70's, has been investigating on and off for a few months and he opened up to us about his concerns. He has actually received a lot of anti-Mormon materials and it shook him up a little. But, after talking about things and the Church, then testifying to him, we reset them to be baptized on the 25th. I even shed a tear in the lesson... which is the first time ever... and he also cried at the end of the lesson. The Spirit is so awesome! He has been praying if this Church is true and wasn't receiving an answer, but he did today!! Ahh, that is so great!
We also picked up 3 new investigators this week. :) It was awesome, and two investigators that we hardly ever see said that they have been enjoying reading the Book of Mormon. It is great. However, I have been noticing a lot of social pressure and more and more anti-Mormon material is showing up. It is definitely the latter days. People have to make a choice, and the adversary is doing a good job of confusing people. Ugh.
I was on an exchange this week with a super awesome Sister who is 6 foot 3 inches tall and we had a blast here in Corning for those few days. The snow has melted, but now it is the muddy rainy season. I haven't had a day above 50 degrees here in New York yet.
This week, we have Mission Leadership Conference and we are also preparing for Easter. We are going around sharing the #Becausehelives Video and it has been a good way to get in some people's door. My 1st General Conference as a missionary is also this weekend and I am super excited :)
Gotta go... I need to go find the Lord's sheep :)
